A Prayer of Thanks
An abundance of many,
a sturdy home against the elements,
for loved ones both near and far
human and nonhuman,
the living and the ancestors.
The strengthening bonds
between a hermit and the deities,
between a hermit and communities,
my threefold gratitude to you,
may this bounty remain strong.
The plentifulness of the earth,
even in its sorrows,
may hope ever abound
may nourishment of all kinds not be withheld from the needy,
may we know an abundance of what feeds us in spirit, mind, and body.
